Tell is a psychological thriller written and directed by Ryan Connolly (Sensei) from Film Riot.
After a long wait Tell has finally arrived, which from the beginning looked promising and it effectively met my expectations.
It’s about a guy namedTaylor (Todd Bruno)who fights frequently with his wife Jenny (Shana Eva), and in one of their discussions Jenny says to him, "You're pathetic!" And in that moment Taylor loses it, He goes to the trunk of his car and takes a hammer which after that leads to the events of Tell ... and as said in the main message: "Do you feel guilty?”
Tell is about 30 minutes without the credits, as mentioned above is directed by Ryan Connolly, the music is composed by Daniel James. The composition is amazing; it is the kind of music that corners you in tension. The film is inspired by The Tell-Tale Heart. The performances are impeccable, starting with Taylor (Todd Bruno), the role of the psychotic killer is the real deal, when he shouts in anger you can feel the emotion, He’s the Perfect Psychopath!
Many of the short movies are better than 1 ½ hour Films. This is one of them. If you want to see something awesomeand very impressive, I recommend it. Tremendous Short Film by Sensei Ryan Connolly.
My final score is a 9.8/10, is short, doesn’t waste time, It go straight to the Bottom-line and the tension is always present.
